Parquet represents homogeneous planks made of solid wood, small rectangular planks that have a smooth top and are connected to each other through a tongue / groove system on four sides. For the production of such a product, a solid mass of wood from valuable oak species is used, which results in a surprisingly beautiful floor covering.
By purchasing block parquet of our production, you can be sure that the products will be manufactured using high-quality wood drying technology and at the modern level of mechanical processing, which will allow performing high-quality , durable installation and provide a high level of natural comfort of the floor covering which the parquet floor should be!
Solid wood flooring
Solid wood flooring is milled from a single piece of timber that is kiln or air dried before sawing. The timber is cut to the desired dimensions and either packed unfinished for a site-finished installation or finished at the factory. The moisture content at time of manufacturing is carefully controlled to ensure the product does not warp during transport and storage.A number of proprietary features for solid wood floors are available. Many solid woods come with grooves cut into the back of the wood that run the length of each plank, often called ‘absorption strips,’ that are intended to reduce cupping.
Engineered wood flooring consists of two or more layers of wood adhered together to form a plank. Typically, engineered wood flooring uses a thin layer (lamella) of a more expensive wood bonded to a core constructed from cheaper wood. The increased stability of engineered wood is achieved by running each layer at a 90° angle to the layer above. This stability makes it a universal product that can be installed over all types of subfloors above, below or on grade. Engineered wood is the most common type of wood flooring in Europe. Laminate and vinyl floors are often confused with engineered wood floors, but are not. Laminate flooring uses an image of wood on its surface, while vinyl flooring is plastic formed to look like wood.
Thermal modification uses heat to remove organic compounds from the wood cells, so it will not absorb water, expand, contract, or provide nourishment for insects or fungi. The high heat produces a naturally durable wood that is permanently resistant to water, insects, and decay. Because the wood is not absorbing chemicals to be treated, but rather removing moisture, the wood is lightweight.Thermally modified lumber is also more dimensionally stable because it is less susceptible to cupping and warping. The wood has increased heat resistance and weather resistance as well. When properly maintained, it will not chip, rot, or warp over the years. Many products offered in this category are rated for 20 or 25 years of exterior use.
A mounting rail from thermo pine is used to create a supporting structure for a decking board installation. Thermo-wood, originating from Finland, is now probably the most recognised brand. The process of thermal modification dramatically increases the durability and stability of wood – and results in a beautiful brown colouration. The result: a new, sustainable, environmentally friendly timber species. Thermal modification is achieved by using steam and high temperatures in excess of 190 degrees celsius. The real trick to the process is in the cooling and reconditioning phase. The modification process requires a purpose-built computer-controlled kiln to ensure every piece of timber is modified to the correct specification and quality. At the end of the process the moisture content of the timber is around 7% moisture content and the chemical and physical properties have been permanently changed.
These are used predominantly by furniture manufacturers, kitchen manufacturers, builders, and carpenters.Ideal product for any internal joinery work. By using edge glued boards, you can offer a much wider panel, in various thicknesses, which are very stable, eliminating twists, cupping, or splits.
Lamellas is a high-quality, expensive veneer from different types of wood, produced by planing or sawing a solid wood mass. Thickness can vary from 1 to 10 mm. The price for sawn veneer is quite high due to a significant loss of timber. Lamellas is an indispensable material in the furniture industry, the production of floor coverings, as well as the manufacture of stringed musical instruments. For the manufacture of lamellas, only high-grade, well-dried wood is used in our production, so our lamellas are beautiful, durable, they have a noble, natural oak texture and impeccable quality!
